I like the call back that this is Gus' birthday so it's Brian and Justin's one year anniversary of meeting and a year since they first had sex. So that end scene is like a quiet anniversary celebration filled with so much meaning for what they've been through and who they are to each other. Justin seemed to be taking care of Brian in that scene.
