48mm motor on Y

Yes that's the issue and this moves the motor enough to the right to avoid that. Motors profile are indeed 42x42 but length is different, stock ender3/pro/2 the motor is only 34mm long this allows up to 48mm long motor ( which are more powerful ) for a while I was using the stock extruder motor on Y (40mm long ) as it's a bit more powerful than stock Y, but ran into that same issue with bed hitting it and made a mount for it.

Does the V2 have similar problems of the bed carriage crashing into the motor without this mount? Or what exactly is the use of this mount, since all motors are 42mm

I'll take a closer look at the ender3 tomorrow, and see how we could mount a bigger motor.

I guess this doesnt work on ender 3 v1 because 4020 profile on Y axis? I tried mounting my E-Motor on the Y-Axis a few weeks ago and found out the hard way that the Bed-Frame crashes into the motor without moving the endstop and therefore limiting printsurface. I would love to put a more powerfull motor on the Y Axis, any idea how i could do that?
