Finally we had an item request this month. The Boom Fists are based on the art from Lucas Reiner, you can check that out HERE. The Boom Fists are hefty gauntlets lined with phial canisters that fill with energy on every successful hit, storing power for devastating special attacks. Wielders can expend these charges for explosive maneuvers—like leaping incredible heights, unleashing concussive shockwaves, or delivering extra-punishing blows.

Makes sense and I can understand that.
Amellwind
It has 92 hp mainly due to how defensive CR calculations work with immunities. It's effective HP from that is much higher than it's HP on paper. Now outside monster building calculations, it needed to have low HP because of its immune to almost all common damage types and resistant to B,P,S. It was designed to fight elder dragons so they make sense lore wise, but it also gives it a weakness (normal damage) to the damage types the ancient civilization didn't plan for or expect.

Question why does the Damaged Proto-EDW have 92 hp and where did you get that idea from? Just curious by the way.
Amellwind
I'll see what I can do about making it more clear tomorrow. I've stepped away from my PC for the night. Appreciate the feedback.

Thought so, thanks! The wording made it look like it was just a flat 5 ft increase regardless of how many canisters
Amellwind
It's 5 ft per canister. So you could do the two like the original for 10 ft, but you could use three to jump 15 feet.
Aeros of the North
Is the boomspring upgrade 5 ft per expended canister or does it drop the increased jump distance from 10 ft to 5?

Updated
Amellwind
It is supposed to, otherwise you couldnt make a BA attack.. My PC rebooted last night so I lost some data. Missed that part, I'll get it updated in a couple minutes. Thank you for asking.

Amellwind, are those fists light weapons?
