*****SPOILERS***** Armin became the new Helos for Marley, hence why the alliance became peace ambassadors representing Marley. There’s nothing Erwin would’ve/could’ve done that would make the situation any better. Eren knew he would start the rumbling, so nothing Erwin did could talk him out of that, and we’ve learned multiple times that Erwin’s only motivation was learning the truth. After learning the truth, he didn’t know what he would do or if he could even lead the troops effectively anymore. Armin was the best bet, and in the long run the better choice.

1. possibly be months anyway with movie possibly coming. 2. it will be dubbed, they are 16 episodes from the most recent watching wise and they can just pause watching and wait as atm they are weeks ahead here. DEFS don't think they would or should watch new eps subbed even if they are up to date soon :)

I’m not sure if you’re trying to say becoming a titan makes you shredded or what, but armin was visibly shredded prior to the injection. Most likely because these characters are all required to be extremely fit/in shape to succeed as scouts. :)

I do really like the idea of Erwin's dream ends at the basement and satisfying that one specific thing he wanted to know and Armin's is for humanity to be able to see the ocean one day. There was a time for the Erwin leadership, IMO, and it was when they had tons of Scouts to throw at the enemy but now it's time for a more optimistic strategist leadership.

Okay but now I kind of want a rate the hotness of titans scale. Agreed that Annie is #1 and possibly closely tied with Eren or maybe a joint #1. Calling it now that we should include the Rod Reiss one as an exemption just for a bottom for that scale :D

These episodes are so amazing, especially Erwin's development. It's sad to see him die, but his character really wrapped up perfectly. Something that I noticed when rewatching these episodes is that Bertholdt's death seems to me like it mirror's Marco's in a way. Obviously Bert wasn't an innocent victim like Marco, but both of them were fed to a titan by people who they once saw as friends because it was necessary to the bigger plan. And oh man, I really can't wait to hear Montana's thoughts on what's coming.

Imagine having to wait one full week to watch each episode. You’re extremely stressed Saturday night, slightly less stressed Sunday, Monday through Friday you’re calm but constantly trying to figure out if Armin is really dead, then you’re stressed Saturday night. Then the entire cycle repeats each week until the season finale. Anime has single-handedly caused an entire generation to genuinely hate cliffhangers 😂😂😂
