Lol super late but watching this episode I was like “what kinda fourth dimension shit is this?” Then season 4 ep 1 has me looking back at the title of the first episode after kiddo was talking about doing something he most definitely has no idea people do, I am CONVINCED the whole thing is already pre-ordained too lol I REALLY need to catch myself up to where you guys are now because I don’t know… what exactly transpires for him to have had an Eren style ‘dream’ or whatever but I’m so tense over it xD

Level 2 of the trolley problem is keeping the same structure but changing the presentation. strangely even though it is 5 v 1, just like the original, people give vastly different answers. - You are a doctor and need to save 5 patients who need organ transplants to live. However, they aren't high enough on a list and are guaranteed to not get them. However, you know of a man with no family or friends, and is a perfect organ match for the 5 people. Do you kill him and harvest his organs and save the five lives? It's exactly like the original trolley problem, but feels so much different.

You should definitely watch both Death Note and FMAB. They’re both great anime with great English dubs and they’re not super long. I’m partial to FMAB though because it’s my favorite all time.

the name of Eren's Titan has more meaning in the original Japanese. The name of the show in Japanese is Shingeki no Kyojin, and that's also the name of the Attack Titan in Japanese.

And with that, Kenny is now in the dark just as much as Montana. Rly looking forward to seeing them react to the new developments that aot introduces in season 4, especially in the most recent episodes. And as someone who’s completed the story, rewatching the story AGAIN after knowing everything is even more eye opening, rly hope they both give aot a rewatch at some point in the future. Also for some anime recommendations, I highly suggest either Death Note or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I think Kenny has seen both of those though so for a show that both of you are new to… I suggest “Monster”. Monster is a psychological thriller that’s 74 episodes long and like Attack on Titan, is masterfully written.

Both montana and kenny have explained their auditory processing issues. I myself have these problems, and it really takes away from experiencing the show when you’re trying to balance everything out. I already know i’m going to have to rewatch the current episodes to fully understand them as soon as they’re out in english. i get that this is a complaint for people, but it’s something out of their control

Even to this day, I grieve for Ymir and Historia's tragic love story. I just want those two to live happily together as a couple. They deserve it after going through so much. But the world and their situations are far too harsh and cruel to allow it.

I actually said something about Erens attack titans scream before and well the VAs so far have been ok but Grieshas VA on this last 2 episodes was meh...not even close to what the japanese VA transmits but just watching Montana and Kenny reacting more than makes up for it, they are great.

After watching them experience AOT I feel like it would be better if they watched something simpler and with explanations more in the open, so def FMAB over Death Note. FMAB do have some mysteries and all but once they're explained it's just crytal clear and nothing that needs to be well thought of.

Man the only thing i dont like about this is that is being watched as a dub and not a sub, the voice actors in japanese really make a lot of this scenes much much more awesome and transmit a lot more emotions (grieshas VA no good) and dont even get me started on Erens and Reiners titans screams...yuck.

Also you can't go wrong with either Death Note or FMA. FMA is more magical systems and similar themes to AoT about what is worth sacrificing and is authority ever trustworthy, while Death Note is more of a chess game. Looking forward to both!

As someone who also followed the same Avatar to Korra to Shera to Attack on titan pipeline, watch Death Note! I think it's a great transition out of AOT and you would love the cerebral/investigative nature of the plot!
