"the mustang man" XD

Yes, I mentioned it because they didn't seem to understand how alchemy worked. And in order to do that, they needed to understand that the alchemy that Ed does is different. And stating that he learned it when they transmuted their mother is NOT a spoiler. It's outright stated. They even acknowledged it when they reacted to that episode. I assumed they forgot.
fr0st
They clearly haven't picked it up. Is there a reason to put in a full explanation here unless you think they did not catch it?
Vincent Rice
It was stated in the 2nd episode! Ed tested his transmutation on his arm and Alphonse asked how he did it. And Ed was like, can't you do it too. And when Al says no, Ed is like "oh, I guess you didn't see it(referring to Truth/God)".
fr0st
Can y'all not spoil please. There's no explanation yet for Ed transmitting without a circle yet.

Also, Scar must also understand the chemical/molecular structure of something in order to deconstruct it.
Vincent Rice
Hey, so alchemy is the science of knowing the molecular make up of an object, deconstructing it down to a molecular level, and reconstructing it. Like the show says at the beginning, it's about understanding, deconstructing, and reconstructing matter. Alchemy is performed with an alchemical circle that is drawn on an object. Alphonse fixed the radio in Liore(?) by drawing an alchemical circle around the broken pieces and putting his hands on the circle to activate it. Major Armstrong performs alchemy with the circle on his metal gloves. Colonel Mustang performs fire alchemy thanks to the symbol on his gloves. This is also why Edward is so unique. He doesn't need ANY alchemy circle to perform transmutation. In meeting the "Truth" (aka god), he gained the knowledge and understanding to use alchemy without those circles. But he does need to clap his hands to do it. As for Scar, his alchemy just stops at the deconstruction phase, which is why is able to just destroy everything he touches.

lol I thought I was the only one that really liked Hawkeye’s hair, it’s simple but something about how it’s done is just satisfying to look at

“Who is this person?” Everyone who’s seen the show watching the reaction: 👀👀

not me crushing on envy
Vex Valor
Fun fact: Envy is nonbinary

I didn't notice Erwin and Scar are the same voice actor but the person who voice Jean in Attack on Titan also voices a character named Jean Havoc in this show!
Jerry Ferrell
I still think it’s odd that religion and science are so often contrasted with one another. Science is about the how while religion is about the why

Oh ok, I'm new to this Patreon stuff. I never got into until now.

They usually have episode specific question posts if you want to actually have them possibly answer your question

So excited to see you guys doing this, subscribed just to watch this with you. You will thoroughly enjoy this. And a little note, you may want to change your attack on Titan to FMAB cause I seen it on your YouTube and here. But regardless love you guys reactions. I will say I will be in the rough when it comes to episode 10, I know we are not there but it's a rough one. I have a question, What are your thoughts on the philosopher stone, meaning, what do you think gives it the power? I know already but to be honest, would like to hear what you guys think.
Judge Grant
Hey just so you know in like episode two when Ed transmuted without a circle Al said “you did it with no circle just like our teacher”, a character you haven’t been met yet but just adding that in for future theories you guys might have.

Hello letts react, my name is Tim and I’m a huge nerd lol and I’d like to share a few things, no spoilers of course. For clarification, the way alchemy works in the show is by braking the bonds between the molecules of your target and re arranging them into something new. For example if you had a 5 pound ball of lead you could transform it into anything you wanted, such as a sword, a wheel, or multiple items with the sum total being 5 pounds of lead. Once the item has been morphed into the shape you desire the alchemy finishes by reconnecting the bonds between molecules and you solidify the final product. Construction, deconstruction and reconstruction. When it comes to things like fixing the radio it’s just about know what every component is made of and knowing how they are supposed to be arranged for optimal usage. The more they study and the more they know about the physical world allows them to perform more precise alchemy. Also the titles they have are more like nick names, the iron blood alchemist was named as such because he was a weapon specialist and most weapons where made of iron in that time period, most titles refer to preferred methods of use in alchemy such as flame alchemist. Sorry for the long read and I hope this helps

Ugh yes the intros to this show are the best!
Elmo Atherton-Adams
your cat holding Montana's hand throughout was delightful.
Jessica Olson
Apologies, it was shown in the first few episodes and I was just trying to help clarify. Didn't mean to spoil anything

YESSS YOU REALIZED IT WAS ERWIN
Darby
the fact that you love this intro so much makes me SO excited for you to react to the fourth intro it's my favorite thing to ever exist....ever

The opening and endings change and are beautiful. I know you guys didn't see them much for AOT, but it would be worth viewing the ones here at least once when they change.
fr0st
Fairly sure confirming the reason he's able to do alchemy without a transmutation circle is not confirmed yet.
Peter Film
This is shown in Ep 2, sure confirming it is odd but they have seen these 2 things.
AJ Hutchinson
Error: your title is still for AOT season 3
HamboneKablooey
I'm very happy y'all are enjoying the intros, and I'll say that every single intro for this anime is a banger. I'm excited to see y'alls reactions to future ones.
fr0st
Yeah, spoiler.
Belle M
They don't know this and it is revealed in the story later. You should delete your comment this is a spoiler

Spot on. I was wondering if they would work out what Scar is doing because we have that intro that literally repeats those steps every single episode and the Letts get to hear it. Nice little hint there for the worldbuilding. Definitely a mistake in the dub, the sub says the correct steps AFAIK.

Do you know the mustang man? The mustang man?? The mustang man! xD

I die a little on the inside when you say that's the voice of all might. Your not wrong but to me its always going to me the Vegeta/ Piccolo voice
Jenna Murdock
I was MINDBLOWN when I found out they also play Grog & Vex in Critcal Role/voice them in The Legend of Vox Machina
SweetCandle
Is "put togetherable" going to be on the vocabulary test?
keyton bush
It could have been that they couldn’t fit the words with the mouth movement. In any case you could consider understanding to be a mental construction.
brina_kitten
Fun fact about the show for y'all to keep in mind: The voice actor for Roy Mustang (Travis Willingham) and voice actress for Lust (Laura Bailey) are married IRL 😂
Keane
Hey Kenny! The Lost Girls: Lost in the Cruel World OVA dub comes out tomorrow (it’s my favourite ova, probably cause Mikasa is my fav) and was wondering if you two were planing on watching it, unlike no regrets it’s a one shot but in my opinion the focus on Eren and Mikasa’s relationship is worth the watch before part 3
Norrin Radd
Montana’s a goddess. 👸🏼
Coco XLarge
Stages of alchemy are. 1. Understanding 2. Deconstruction 3. Reconstruction I think voice actor for Ed made a mistake this episode.
Haorii
Hope you have recovered after that last episode 😅🙈
Letts React
Haha sorry for the graphics mess up at the beginning, computer had its own ideas!
