Yeah that’s true, but I feel like Montana would have some good insight into the motives and psychological issues of some of the characters. Also, if they recorded some reactions (without questions from us and talked about their opinion of the movies/shows) and waited to release the reactions until Christmas time, that would be really cool. I just thought it would be a fun idea.

Just FYI if you choose TOH, the final season is cut short by Disney so it's three long episodes, the second of which should be coming in Jan 2023.

That would be really time intensive though, especially since Montana I believe has literally no foundational knowledge of any of these characters so you'd have to start right at the beginning with the movies and work your way out.

Yeah, agreed. Totally depends on what works best for them and the channel. I don't think there have been any bad choices in their lineup so far or the options to replace the line up

Cool. I really don't think there's a wrong decision with the direction they want to go. Both are great shows.

I compare it with animated shows of that bracket and I enjoy that there are a bunch of shows that are up there like gravity falls, but it's certainly packed full of lore and theorizing, so I guess it's the agree to disagree option :)

I've seen every episode including S3E1. But I'm 54 years old, so I have a lot to compare it to.

I disagree with your disagreement. Although I loved the characters in TOH as well as the comedy, the overall plot wasn't very complex.

The owl house has ridiculous amounts of theorising and lore so big disagree. It's also a really interesting and unique style of fantasy world compared to yet another dragons and dark grey fantasy settings, imo.

I think Dragon Prince has the better overall storyline, but Owl House is much more funny. I may be wrong, but I feel Owl House is much more popular only because it's easier accessed via TV, streaming services and YouTube. Dragon Prince you can only get if you're subscribed to Netflix. Probably a larger percentage of owl house fans that have not seen dragon prince than vice versa.

It’s sad that it seems we’ll be choosing between Owl House and The Dragon Prince, because god, they’re both such good shows. Though you’re already busy as it is so it’s best on you guys to take it one show at a time. I honestly think Owl House is the option right now because 1. It’s wrapping up soon, unlike The Dragon Prince which still has multiple seasons remaining, and 2) that show killed you. You guys actually died laughing multiple times at The Owl House, I think you might like it more than me!
