i'm so impressed by neither of you being spoiled for this show. honestly, either amazing moderators or amazing social media avoiding skills. just. it's so much worth it not knowing how it unfollows. and so much fun for us watching you as naïve as you were on season1 of she-ra. especially now that ep2 of s3 just aired, tread lightly.

Just dropping this but you should watch Amphibia after this or voltron legendary defenders. amphibia is like owl house and volrton is like shera

Belos isn’t eating palismen because they have wild magic, Belos doesn’t need. witches to be wild, he just needs them under control

Yeah, lilith couldn’t undo the curse. She didn’t just choose to not help her, but the emperor can. She probably would have undone it a long time ago.
Nerains
the emperor... oh brother

Except for season 2, episode 16 which ends on such a high note (or maybe that's the screams of despair).

This fight is one of the parts where the animation really popped off

And it’ll just keep getting darker from here on out!

WOW I haven't seen this in like 2 and a half years I forgot how great it was! The duel is one of my fav sequences in the whole show.

Montana's not-having-it false deadpan of "Don't trust men with skulls" is a must-keep for all future "best of Lett's React" edits.

Secret coded message poem: two witches torn apart now alone two hearts of stone a curse of feathers and mud a betrayal [of]

Oh man, after your responses to Lilith’s betrayal I’m beyond excited to see your reaction to next week’s episode!
Jenny D
I love how Lilith’s palisman is equal parts beautiful and intimidating, like it matches her really well.

There’s a joke (?) in the fandom that the writers made Amity sit out of this episode because she’s too much of a scene stealer.

Definitely, I think a lot of their analysis of Lilith here is based on the idea that Lilith could've cured Eda whenever she wanted, and that's just not the case

It's really a pleasure to rewatch The Owl House with you guys, since the penultimate episode of S3 has aired just a few days ago!
Life is Steph
It seemed to me that Lilith had no real way of healing Eda's curse. She seems to believe only the Emporer can heal the curse
Carlos Guzman
Matthew Rhys, Emmy-winning actor of "The Americans" drama series, is the voice of Belos.

"Thanks to Them", literally-speaking.

It just gets better and better guys. The moment I saw the notif, I hopped up. Savage as always, and adorable pittie :)

One thing to note that I think may have been overlooked during the discussion: Emperor Belos says that he can cure Eda of her curse on the condition that Lilith captures Eda and forces her to join the Coven. That at least implies that Lilith does not have the ability to cure Eda on her own.

Just wanna let ya’ll know, the notification that this video was out was literally what got me out of bed this morning, because otherwise I probably would’ve missed my class, so thank you lol.

enjoy the toneshift - this is what the show is here on forward (not to say there aren't jokes - just as there are still jokes in this episode) but yeah, the plot and emotions are here now and they're not going away.

While everyone talks of grom as a major shift in the show I think this episode really shows why people were saying the first 14 episodes were nowhere near up to the same level. Just a switched flipped to turn up the epicness. Also watching this I forgot how fast eda was in this fight which is making me draw a connection to other character(s) in the future (being vague but I think other people who are ahead can realize it)
