Question: should we consider spy x family to replace Owl House after it ends instead of Death Note?

I was just meaning it seemed like they were specifically going for one anime and one non anime running at a time. I just more was hoping for a return to dragon prince more than anything! Haha

Many anime are more western I mean Korra was done in Korea but was western enough so. I think Spy X fits

I think spyxfamily would be good to react to. I don't know how people feel about amphibia but I feel like that would have a lot of the same energy and the two shows reference each other constantly but regardless I more like the idea of the anime/western split. I'll watch whatever comes out but it's my preference

Well if you're trying to go with reacting to one anime and one western animated show...I personally was really hoping to see y'all go back to Dragon prince! That seemed to potentially be a very enjoyable show!

I'm thinking that Teen Titans or Young Justice should be on deck for the "western animation" spot. No ill-will to SxF, but just as a reminder: as a current show, content strikes will be a constant pain in the *$$.

Also, I'm really confused by all the comments saying you should stick with "1 anime" and "1 animated show" at a time. Aren't you currently in the process of watching Owl House, Death Note, and Demon Slayer? That's three shows.

There's a lot of good western animation to watch and so I honestly prefer the balance of one anime and one western animation show. I imagine if you wanted to flip the two and go with feel good comedy anime and more adult western show (such as legend of Vox machina or invincible), that still works well for overall balance. The fact that y'all can also only watch dub limited the anime choices as well so all anime wouldn't be as full of choice as it would for other channels,.imo.

Really depends if you think it's better to have one anime/one other show or if you think it's better to have one serious show/one light-hearted show. I genuinely don't know what would be the best for your channel.

Personally I think replacing Death Note with Spy X Family is better just so we can have one anime and one cartoon going to please both groups. Plus the owl House is going to be kicking into gear of not being quite as "slice of life" so adding in a slice of life to the week could be a refresher for you guys :)

I like spy family, but I think there would be a lot better scenes to analyze both thematically and psychologically in Vinland Saga or Code Geaus, but spy family should be after Death Note

Personally I enjoy having one type of reaction be anime and the other being an animated show. I feel like if you have both shows be anime, it could be polarizing to the audience who don’t like anime and rather enjoyed your reactions to Shera, Owl House, etc.

I do agree that it might match the vibes better. And there is psychological stuff in it that I would like to see you guys comment on sooner rather than later! Death Note is such a departure in tone, so it makes sense to stick to a theme so to speak.

I think this would be a great idea! Since it’s not a cartoon I know a lot of people would be upset but since it’s a short show I think it would make up for it. Gravity falls (wink wink) would just have to wait

I think replacing it after owl house is a good idea. It’s very “slice of life” and light hearted which blends in more with the She-ra/Owl House vibe. Although I do like having one show as an anime and the other not, I think it would still be good!

It fits better theme wise, but may be tough not having a cartoon on the roster as before. Personal bias I love Spy x Family and I also would love a Ranking of kings for the line up

I think going from death note to something like jujutsu kaisen matches vibes and the. Owl house to spy x family matches both are amazing shows!

I think it’s a great idea! It’s definitely a good match mood-wise and also selfishly I’d be so excited to watch both series on this channel again since Owl House isn’t my jam. Even still it seems like with the amount of interest in it and some other shows in the poll, it would probably be good to keep that Thursday/Sunday spot open for one of the other options
