If you haven’t heard of shadow masks, it is a way to make your HDMI look a bit closer to how a CRT looks like. It is a very nice feature and it was recently accomodated inside the MiSTer OSD together with other nice video filtering options. This week, I updated all JT cores to support it. Please check the video to learn how to enable it. Run the updater to get the files -or alternatively download them from JTBIN.
There was only a bug report related to Mikie. The sound tempo was too fast. Upon reviewing the connection, it was definetely wrong. The CPU reads an automatic counter to check the time. As the counter moves with a submultiple of the CPU clock, if you get the factor wrong you can get funny things thanks to some sort of aliasing. Anyway, I corrected the connection and I think the core is ready for public life so I’m releasing it today.
I got the NeoGeo Pocket CPU to 68% completion now, while fixing a number of bugs in the meantime. Once I get it to 100%, I will still spend at least a week doing further testing. I prefer to have it well tested before plugging in real NeoGeo Pocket games. The reamining CPU instructions are related to binary-coded decimal numbers, division and special intructions for loops. All regular arithmetic and logical operations, as well as stack and flag bit functions are implemented now.
I also fixed two long standing graphics problems in Street Fighter 1. Atrac17 also fixed a SF1 problem in the MRA file. Esperanza is drawing the last few lines in the Twin Cobra schematics. I was hoping she would finish it today but she may need a few more days. Immediately after that, she will start extracting the schematics for SEGA System 18, which is a smaller board than the Twin Cobra bootleg and hopefully will take some 4-6 weeks to get done.

Es una característica muy buena y ahora estádentro del OSD deMiSTer junto con otras buenas opciones de filtrado de video. Esta semana, actualicé todos los núcleos JT con este sistema. Solo hubo un partede error relacionado con Mikie. El tempo del sonido era demasiado rápido. Al revisar la conexión, definitivamente estaba mal. La CPU lee un contador automático para comprobar el tiempo. Como el contador se mueve con un submúltiplo del reloj de la CPU, si te equivocas en el factor puedes obtener cosas divertidas gracias a algún tipo de aliasing. En cualquier caso, corregí la conexión y creo que el núcleo está listo para la vida pública, así que ya está en la calle.
Tengo yala CPU de laNeoGeo Pocket al 68 % de progreso. Una vez que llegue al 100%, aún pasaré al menos una semana haciendo más pruebas. Prefiero probarlo bien antes de conectarlo a los juegos reales de NeoGeo Pocket. On your video is visible a filter menu, without the top item `load preset`. When you update the cores, at least on all the cores i tried, the `load preset` menu is actually there. Some cores have still the basic shadowmasks instead of the feature from the filter menu.

Hi Jose! Thanks for taking care of this issue. I simply replaced all the files with jt main and it it changed the status of the core "Mikie" to official. Otherwise I will give it a look and see if something has changed in the settings. Sometimes you don´t consider the most obvious things either because you thing way too complicated and build up a barrier in your head and think to yourself no way I could find a solution to this problem. Other than that you think of million other things which are out of the realm of logic. As far as the update is concerned it is a good idea to see if some cores are not present twice in the root directory - otherwise the "program" could choose the wrong one file and nothing changes. You can indicate the latest file by adressing the change of date.

Thanks for the shadow mask support! Sorry if this is already implemented and I’ve just missed it, but is there any chance of getting 5x integer scaling like many of the console cores? They would work better with Shadow Masks then too. Thanks!
