- Extracted layer priority circuit from PCB and fixed the FPGA core with it
- The screen had an 8-line offset, which is corrected now
- The sprites position was slightly offset too
- There was a noisy line when the game was in flip mode
- The default sound balance had the FX too loud
After this, there are no known issues for this game.
DEC0 System (Robocop, Dragon Ninja…)
- This system has been shiftedto public release
- There is a custom chip in Secret Agent (Sly Spy) for which we don’t have a good model
- No known issues in the rest of the games
Twin Cobra/Kyukyoku Tiger
We thought we had the schematics basically done. Then we ran the electrical rule checker only to discover over 600 warnings and errors. It has taken almost a week of full time work to clean all the messages. We are now much more confident about the schematics, which you can find attached to this post. The core will not come up immediately as there’s a DSP chip that will take some extra effort to get done.
Rastan/Konami 8-bit titles
- The pixel clock was improved, this means that people who experienced wavy screens should have a steady image now.
The issue list has come down a lot in these two weeks, although there are still some items I’d like to clear. Anyway, we will have a new arcade core next week so please be vigilant about Patreon news.

Pensamos que teníamos los esquemas básicamente hechos. Luego ejecutamos el verificador de reglas eléctricas para descubrir más de 600 advertencias y errores. Se ha necesitado casi una semana de trabajo a tiempo completo para limpiar todos los mensajes. Ahora tenemos mucha más confianza en los esquemas, que puedes encontrar adjuntos a esta publicación. El núcleo no aparecerá de inmediato, ya que hay un chip DSP que llevará un esfuerzo adicional para hacerlo.

El reloj del pixel daba problemas y esta semana he conseguido por fin pulirlo. Si tenías una pantalla inestable en estos juegos, ahora sí debería verse bien.
La lista de incidencias se ha reducido mucho en estas dos semanas, aunque todavía hay algunos problemas que me gustaría arreglar. De todos modos, tendremos un nuevo núcleo de arcade la próxima semana, así que esté vigilante a las noticias de Patreon.

究極タイガー
基本的に回路図は完成したと思ったら電気ルールチェッカーを実行したところ600個を超える警告とエラーが出ました。すべてのメッセージを直すには、ほぼ1週間のフルタイムの作業が必要でした。これで、この投稿に添付されている回路図に自信が持てるようになりました。FPGAのコアーにするのに新しいDSPチップがあるため、まだ時間がかかります。
クリアしたい問題点がまだいくつかありますが、この2週間で問題リストが大幅に減少しました。とにかく、来週は新しいアーケードコアがありますので、Patreonのニュースをお待ちください。

Ok it is showing “robocop.zip/mb7122e_mb7122e_a-2 .17e” on start up. But part of the game starts. What version of mame do I find a replacement rom in ?

That sounds like an issue with the ROM files.

Robocop dont work right for me. The game starts but i can only se parts of the menu and when starting a game i only se the lifebar and ammo rest of the picture black. Can some one help fix it !

Wow that is a surprisingly complex pcb.
