I use alcohol in my ear. Lean over and left it sit for a minute and the wax floats. Turn your head to get the liquid out and use a qtip to dry. Has worked for me for many years.

I tell you what, my son has the same problem with wax buildup and my Dr. once told me to let the warm water of the shower go in my ear when I shower but nothing seems to work.
LOL, I guess I don't have the ear problem because I wash my ears when I wash my hair (which is long.) Soapy warm water in, then rinse. That is a cool kit, I never saw that before.
