Hey Everyone! Here's something a little different. I wanted to get one last Halloween themed model in before we get too far into the month, so this is my take on the classic Jack-O-Lantern! There are five different printing options included in this set:
1) Ornamental version
2) Lidded Candy Dish/Bowl
3) Lidded Dish with Cut out Eyes, Nose, and Mouth
4) Keychain
5) Refrigerator Magnet (this one has a 90 degree corner, so could be printed bigger as a decorative piece to put flush against a wall) For magnets use 10mm x 2.6mm magnets like These On Amazon.
This was a really fun sculpt to explore, and making a lidded dish was a lot trickier than I anticipated, haha! I hope you enjoy it!

Printing is pretty straightforward. Most variants shouldn't need supports*, unless you want some inside the mouth. I found the overhangs performed fine without them.
*the cutout eyes, nose, mouth version will need supports!
-5%-10% infill should be sufficient.
-Magnet: I would use 10% Lightning Infill like all magnets, to keep the weight down.

Has anyone been able to use supports on the one with cut out eyes that are easy to remove? I have tried tree supports in Bambu slicer and just struggle trying to get them off.
MatMire_Makes
I painted them by hand. This was made before I had a Bambu. For MMU, I would suggest tracing the inside shapes with the circle tool to create a complete outline, and then filling in the middle with the fill tool.

Did you paint the eyes black or print it like that? Have a bambu with ams and am finding painting the eyes not easy at all. Thanks

It is the 3rd link in the Vault section of the pinned download links post.

Any tips on the supports for the cut-out jack-o-lantern?

I just released that update. Did you receive a notification?

I agree with Ali! I would love to see versions with the eyes and mouth cut out for lighting! Thanks!!! These are awesome though!

Hi! I just painted the stem on mine, but that's a good idea! It would more likely have to be a glue-in option vs snap-fit. I'll explore it.
Darlisa Riggs - CatBird Studios
Would it be possible to do one with the lid where the stem is separate so it can be done in a different color and snapped in for those of use with printers that only do one color at a time?

I forgot to add that. 10mm x 2.6mm neodymium magnet, like these on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/SMARTAKE-Refrigerator-Magnets-Multi-Use-Whiteboard/dp/B081GDWRZT?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 I'll add a link to this post and current download post.

What size magnets do you recommend for your refrigerator magnets? This pumpkin print as well as the bat, bearded dragon head and the others you have made. I have printed a few of them but not added any magnets yet. Thanks in advance.

I'll work on one. That version would definitely need supports in the mouth.

Love this! I haven’t loaded it up in slicer but is there any chance to make one where the eyes and mouth are cut out? I’m printing all my decorations this year and using led candles
