Hey Gang,
I'm very excited to be sharing this new design with you all. The early release of my new Bat design is upon us! A fun flexy that, with the addition of a pair of #12 rubber bands, becomes even more exciting! Perfect for the Halloween season!
Please watch this video to see how to install the rubber bands, and for a general tour of the model! https://youtu.be/FjW2okXF_9c
Here's a quick video showing the slightly modified method of attaching the head to the body: https://youtu.be/dbuXpUTG3Dc
Another exciting advancement on this model is, NO SUPPORTS. Well, as long as you use the included pre-supported head, and pre-brimmed body. These include small sacrificial parts, that make additional supports unnecessary. This is the ideal method for printing it, and should simplify things quite a bit! You will also notice on the final model four additional holes on the back (not present in the above photos). These are channels for hanging the bats using fishing line, or thread.
I'm planning to release this model to Cults3D later next week. In the meantime, I would love to hear any feedback so that I can address any issues before I release it there.
Happy Printing!
Matt

The Bat uses size #12 rubber bands in its wings, like These Rubber Bands***
I also bought an Assorted bag from Staples, which did include size #12.
Size #12 is 1-3/4" when measured flattened. (Not Diameter)

I have printed 4 of these so far and they are a delight. The range of motion and overall cuteness is great. My favorite by far.

Sweet! I did do one painting tutorial for the Axolotl eyes, at end I talk through how I approach the newer style eyes. I need to make a new video demoing that. The Axo tutorial is in this post... https://www.patreon.com/posts/tutorial-axolotl-70445404?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator

Just started printing this one this morning. Looking forward to seeing it finished! I love the paint touches you put on the model, do you have tutorials on painting anywhere?

Super excited! Going to get one on a printer here shortly! I also wanted to ask as a new patron if there is a authorized seller badge for us to add to our pictures and posts?
