The return of Riff Lord

After this we're taking a little break from Sonic Boom, but we'll be back with a new season before you know it!
Hope you enjoy, thanks for being a patron, and let me know if you like this one as much as we do. :)

Hey, just wanted to say goodbye before I cancel, but Patreon new mandatory public profiles are not acceptable.

I was just rocking out to this song in my car and felt a familiarity in the sound. It had me thinking of The Gufs who were a local Milwaukee band back in the 90s. They had some success but never really made it big. I listened to a few of their songs again and nothing stood out as being "the same" but it definitely has a similar vibe to it I think.

Such an effective way to document a creative process. Especially since it’s so collaborative. You get us to hear the musical ideas as they’re shaping up. Like, our ears get what might come up next. Which is exactly how it all felt so familiar. And though it’s not really your style, a video about copyright à la Adam Neely would follow really well from this. Oh, also, something I’ve personally enjoyed from this first season of Sonic Boom is that the crew was involved. I’d vote for even more of that. Not in the “Reality TV” style. Just deeper in the “behind the scenes” aspects which are about diverse contributions.

I freaking love it. I get Blue Man Group vibes. Very 00's 😁. Thank you for this amazing song!
