the vibe i get off cornelius is that he trusts beef is coming at him from a place of respect even if itd be easier to talk to beef if he at least got through the count of monte cristo i imagine connies line is between an ereader because the written word is the written word regardless of the medium carrying it and watching a film made from the book because if youve outsourced your imagination to hollywood its not like theres any full time staff left inside your skull

Jesus. I never realized that it’s just Ray calling him Connie. A recurring joke in Achewood is Ray’s charismatic effect on trashy off-panel characters… are we the true off-panel trashy characters?

Tell Beef his workaround for the Panama palindrome was clever and amusing. Cornelius is probably nodding acquaintances with some god or another, wouldn't surprise me at all.

One of my greatest disappointments of recent times is seeing that Beef refers to twitter as X with neither a trace of irony nor of having been paid to do so.
