Marvelous, Ken! Like the other readers, I sincerely appreciate all of your hard work. Your research process must have gone really well; there are always so many layers of social and cultural interaction at a cookout, and you made them come alive in these panels! Much felt familiar: - The dueling potato salads (now that everyone knows Ken is vegan, will there be a future competition to adapt each family recipe before the next family gathering?) - The protective uncle who offers both welcome and warning - The idiot cousin/friend who never brings his manners or 'home training' to parties - All of the lovely aunties and nanas I like the great variety of hairstyles, facial expressions, and the way that you captured the warm, lively feeling of these gatherings. There is more than your artistic talent in these panels; there is also a wealth of empathy! Thank you.
