Great reaction but why is it that floridian women get British humour more than their counterparts. Queen Taylor and Jess (re gen tv) would be an awesome patreon, just so much more clued up than Steve and Mike!!! Just more intelligent i suppose 😂

Yeah for sure I agree, this is the weakest episode of both series..but still funny in parts. Really glad to see you both enjoying it.. Alan Partridge character is genius and hope you continue to watch his newer stuff also after both seasons.

Don't know if it's the same in the US but it's very common in 🇬🇧 for people to drunkenly steal traffic cones. Don't ask me why, it just is 😂

I actually have a bit of a story relating to this episode. So about 12 years ago or so, I had been on a night out and was running home (running because it was cold and just wanted to get home) and a police car screeched and pulled up next to me. Coincidentally by some road works where there were traffic cone's. To question me about where I had been and where I was going ect. And in my response played out the lines from this ep. 'I wasn't trying to steal a traffic cone' 'I just got it to be sick into, I didn't want to be sick on the road, car's might skid on it' 'to an innocent bystander it could may look like traffic cone theft' Turned out he was a fan of Partridge and got what I was doing, so we had a laugh about it. I ended the questioning by saying 'I'm going to go home, and probably just go straight to bed and just keep out of trouble' I was still a bit drunk at the time but had sobered up a little. Anyway turned out it was mistaken identity and that I just matched the description of someone they were looking for and because it was early hours of the morning and running they stopped me 😂

He didn’t buy the house because he didn’t get the new series, hence living in the hotel (or rather his sordid little grief hole) for 4 episodes so far
