yeah at first she did say it was boring but I think she had two motives I think you missed that part where she said she was going to make money for him to come live with her there and have a better life for him. so think she was bored with the life they had there and also wanted to give him a better life is what I think she was trying to say

i think you missed the part where the mom said she would come back to get her son to live with her once she makes the money for the beauty salon so she was trying to make money for him to come live with her there but he gameled the money and left the debts to her and she couldn't afford to come back to her son so she has been working as a maid to try and fix it. so I think she was trying to fix her wrong doings though so I understand that part after all that wasn't her fault. but she should have talked to her son at least all this time. also she didn't leave him alone at least she left him with family but still she should have talked to him all this time.
