The Great Replacement Theory Explained

Mr. Beat

Thank you so much for those encouraging words. And I agree with you that we need to develop critical thinking skills with young folks, as well as media literacy. Those two things are likely the way out of all this hate and division we are seeing in society today.

Naterade

Disturbing topic, but thank you for taking it head on and debunking The Great Replacement Theory. Critical thinking skills, challenging those espouse this nonsense and most importantly learning to empathize with people who may have legitimate economic concerns but are directing the blame at the wrong people. Social media certainly makes it tough to convince people to open their minds, but videos like this are a good start to creating a dialogue. If a video like yours can convince one person to reevaluate their GRT beliefs then that’s a good start in my book.

Mr. Beat

Thank you so much!

Gael Guerard

Excellent video Matt! Makes me glad to be a Patreon of you & your channel.

Mr. Beat

That is almost unbelievable 😳

What’s crazy to me is that I’m Jewish and I hear some of this talk from members of my local synagogue buying into to this crap. Tucker Carlson and Facebook as caused more damage to this country than the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany ever did.

Devin Canada

Yeah it took a long time because Republicans were being labeled as racist for every little thing so people became skeptical whenever somebody was called a racist he basically had the outright say something extremely racist in order for people to believe it.

Mr. Beat

Yeah I think the future of the Republican Party leans on the fact that many Latinos and Hispanics are joining it.

Devin Canada

The great replacement theory lost all credibility in the last election on Latin Americans grew in number as far as voting for republicans.

Devin Canada

Your video almost seem to go totally in the rabbit trail In just talking about white supremacist all together they borrow ideas from other groups as well and attempt to attach to those groups. This makes it very easy for groups that are not my supremacists to be labeled as such and that's probably their intent in the first place. There's always been noted and knowing that they are well hated and they know this too. Is why when the attached themselves to the tea party protestors the protestors had threatened the white supremacist to get them out. In fact cultural Marxism is the irony. the definition of cultural Marxism is to use race as a dividing point in order to introduce Marxist ideas.

Mr. Beat

It's crazy he was in power for so long. 😳

Devin Canada

If you wanted someone to point out that is a senator who fell for this Steve king is a bad pick. He was censored for racism and then members of his own party donated to his primary Challenger to get him out. Steve King was not somebody that was fooled by the great replacement theory he was a true believer.

Mr. Beat

Thank you Dante. Yeah Tucker is definitely a gateway to this crap.

DANTE VERONA

Almost always I argue case by case. Not even going to try to be diplomatic here: Piss on Tucker Carlson. He's been pushing this narrative for years on his credulous viewers... Good for you Mr. Beat taking on this topic. No doubt this post will get the attention it deserves.

Mr. Beat

Thank you so much. I must now investigate these Pop Culture Reactionaries. 😐

Michael M

Very good video Mr. Beat. I am glad that you chose an educational approach to the topic that also implored critical thinking whenever we come across political material that elicits an emotional reaction out of us. It is something that is deeply needed right now. I too have become concerned about groups who are becoming good at manipulating others into becoming radicalized to an extreme ideology. The specific group that has caught my eye recently has been what I call, "Pop Culture Reactionaries." These are successful YouTube channels that will continually complain (and never compliment) about popular media by calling it woke and complain that the material has political messaging. They will also say that they "want politics out of movies and shows." All of this while they subtly sell their own politics to their audience. Examples of these channels would be Nerdrotic and Geeks + Gamers. Again, great educational content. I hope YouTube doesn't demonize it.
