🕑 Added 2015-02-26 05:35:08 +0000 UTC This is one of the last ads I have to make, and it's proving to be the most challenging one. I've spent two hours just tweaking the composition, and Thistle's arm is giving me a lot of trouble! There are still some weird things about the unicorns anatomy, too, but I'm not too worried about those at the moment. I think I'm ad a point where I'm happy with the concept and placement of everything, though. So I think it's ready for inks and colors. Those'll happen tomorrow.

THAT IS THE EXACT REFERENCE PICTURE I NEEDED what the crap. You are the unofficial Reference Photo Grand Master. RPGM - oh gosh that's actually cool. Yeah, I think this requires a bit more research on my part, especially where that dumb arm is concerned. Regarding unicorns, though - historically, unicorns were described in medieval books as being deer-like, with a lion's tail and a beard. But for DotL, I really like the idea of the female unicorns being delicate and small, and the males huge, aggressive stallions. So don't worry - you'll get your fierce, angry, bad@$$ beasts!

Oh. I can see what you mean about the arm and stuff. Well, from my perspective, it seems that the bump in the back for the shoulder should be placed more over the front legs then in front of them, as seen in this picture: <a href="http://www.liveanimalslist.com/mammals/images/what-do-deer-eat-grass-in-plot.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.liveanimalslist.com/mammals/images/what-do-deer-eat-grass-in-plot.jpg</a> And about Thistle's arm: it looks more like she's holding the unicorn's head down with her arm than it does her resting her arm on it. Perhaps take a picture of yourself resting your arm on something like a chair and see how it compares. Also, funny note: I think the head shape looks more like a deer's than it does a horse's. But in a way, I kind of like this unicorn being a horned deer than a horned horse. IDK why, but I guess I kind of like deer more than I like horses. Maybe? IDK... it's hard to say.
