CHAPTER 3 STATUS UPDATE
🕑 Added 2015-05-11 13:25:24 +0000 UTC BUDS BUDS BUDS I finally sat my dumb butt down and banged out the rest of the thumbnails for the chapter. Something about it still felt kind of flat and uninteresting to me - I kept writing and re-writing things but there still wasn't that "oomph" that I felt it really needed. Finally, I hit upon a scene that just felt really, really GOOD, and I think you guys will like it a lot. The next page and the rest of the scene is going to lead into it - we won't actually see it until the next chapter. There are officially 13 PAGES LEFT. And oh my gosh does it end on a doozy. I am so sorry in advance. Please forgive me. It's less than TWO WEEKS before I get hitched and go on a cross-country drive/honeymoon, so I need to bust out several pages before the end of this week. I might put Yoko, the colorist, in charge of updating the comic while I'm gone... and depending on whether or not I have internet access (though really, I don't think I want to be "working" while I'm on my honeymoon anyway), you $5 Patrons might be getting 3 or 4 weeks' worth of advance-screening pages ALL AT ONCE. Gosh, man, I have no idea. I'm just trying to make pages right now, not try to figure this out just yet. Things are crazy.Comments

you do know you're totally allowed to pull a "temporary on vacation" hiatus thing for a month, right? 4 tiny weeks is not gonna kill anyone. and if anything, you can compensate by giving 4 weeks of double updates right after. (Monday and Friday or whatever) you're allowed to be human and get your real life on track, ya know. also, my invitation got lost. I never got it in the mail. so no printed memento for the ONLY US wedding I'll probably ever attend. le sigh...
