August is here! Let's make a status update!
🕑 Added 2019-08-01 00:55:49 +0000 UTCFirst of all, the team is working TIRELESSLY already for three reasons:
1- There's a Thursday holiday on August 15 so a lot of jobs will give you Friday the 16th so that's when we'll have our vacations from Wednesday night (the 14th) all the way to Sunday (the 18th) Yeah... It's not a lot but it should be enough to recharge our batteries and not cause a negative impact on the patch release date.
2- Because we're currently working on two patches at the same time.
3- Because we are using a new method to have the CG team deliver stuff on time and we're working very hard to release the patch flawlessly on August because after that is the Halloween patch which will at an insurmountable (BOOM, EXPENSIVE WORDS) amount of work.
Let's address the second reason for the moment. We've been keeping it under wraps (kinda) but we're creating a huge improvement version which the patch notes are beginning to look like a small bible, everything from the walkthrough overhaul, bug fixes, to mechanics, to NPC's, repeatable hentai scenes (voyeur and gym), sounds, quests, and scripts is been adding to the game. I want to focus specially in the script because the CG room is quickly becoming a chore to navigate.
People have to walk all the way across a freaking football stadium to arrive to the scene they want and there's still something like 100 scenes to be added. It just isn't working anymore. With that being said, we're creating a menu where you interact with a sprite of the respective route and you instantly see a panel of image previews that you can quickly navigate to get to the CG you want!

The goal is to have everything to ship this Friday! However, in case we can't do everything by then we won't be able to postpone the mechanics of 0.94 any longer and this small patch will be absorbed by v0.94 so, let's hope our scripter can deliver before that.
We're SOOOO excited for this and we really hope we can make it so that you guys will have this update in your hands as fast as possible, so let's hope for the best.
Regarding point 3. Halloween patch as you know will be somewhat of a "stand alone" side story that will be developed over the course of the next 3 Halloweens to be finished, the characters will transform into their costumes which requires a lot of busts, monsters, and unique hentai scenes with tentacles, zombies, goblins and other stuff we never drew before, that's why we can't delay this patch at the cost of having less room to work with for the Halloween patch T_T

That's exactly how it is. That's what we meant by "you interact with a sprite of the respective route".

Just a suggestion for the gallery, but you can further break it down by route (e.g. Common/Beginning, Melvin route(s), Garcia Route(s) etc. ) at the top of the "Gallery Mode" to reduce to need to press the L/R buttons too many times to navigate the gallery. The Routes can be indicated by the respective character image.

Dam that is a big update. I honestly am starting to wonder if it is just going to be more worth while to just start my campaign from the start.
