Chapter 240: The Most Powerful of the New Protoss, The Prospect of the Concept God!
🕑 Added 2025-05-19 16:19:56 +0000 UTCWith Aaron back, the dimensional universe has finally returned to calm.
All the Dimensional Lords who followed this battle were stunned.
They didnât expect that Mephisto, Dormammu, and Satanish would join forcesâonly to be wiped out by a strange group of demon gods.
Mephisto is dead!
The hell dimension is shattered!
Only a few weak Hell Lords survived.
Not a single demon dares to claim the throne of the King of Hell.
In that vast hell dimension, home to hundreds of millions of demons, terror reigns supreme.
Anxiety plagues them day and night.
Dormammu was defeated and disappeared; the Dark Dimension is irreversibly damaged, and its spatial vortex is growing increasingly unstable.
Due to Dormammu's vanishing, his long-lost sister, Umar, returned to claim the title of Lord of the Dark Dimension.
But anyone with insight can see that the once-dreaded realm of darkness no longer inspires fear.
The battle left the Dark Dimension crippled.
Umar also lost more than half her strength for reasons unknown.
Even if Dormammu returned, a sibling alliance wouldn't restore the former glory of the past.
As for the lesser-known Spiritual Dimension, its lord Satanish has also disappeared.
The only thing certain is that heâs not deadâbut he was decisively defeated and banished by the God of Magic.
Some Dimensional Lords attempted to search for their whereabouts, but both Dormammu and Satanish seemed so psychologically scarred that they refused to reappear, no matter the stakes.
As for Nastil, who died in the real universe as part of the Five-Lord Alliance, no one cared. He was merely a bastard never officially promoted, and none paid attention to a cross-modal virus.
Then there was the Darkchildeâthe master at the border of hellâwho became the only surviving Dimensional Lord from the Mephisto-led alliance.
Some claim that the Darkchilde betrayed the Five Lords, which is why the God of Magic spared him.
His dimension also remained relatively intact.
Many Dimensional Lords dare not make careless moves because of this.
But the big question remains: Who exactly is Aaron, the God of Magic?
How was he able to annihilate the seemingly invincible alliance of Dimensional Lords in such a short timeâachieving two kills, two escapes, and one surrender?
Such power defies conventional understanding.
The hell and dark dimensions were once two of the most dominant realms in the dimensional cosmos.
Now, both lie in ruinâperhaps never to recover.
Everyone is desperately searching for useful intelligenceâbut none dares to go too far.
The reason is simple.
Like the demons who experienced this battle firsthandâeven if they've never seen Aaronâhis overwhelming record is enough to make anyone think twice.
Some Dimensional Lords considered approaching the Darkchilde in Limbo to "talk."
But fear of Aaron keeps even the boldest from acting.
And so, the dimensional universe entered a strange, tentative equilibrium.
The weaker Dimensional Lords began communicating more frequentlyâespecially those scattered across the Fragmented Realms.
After all, the primary battlefield of this war was the Split Domain, and the nominally supreme and evil Dark Dimension was decimated.
To prevent Aaron from launching another attack, they had no choice but to form a fragile, temporary alliance.
Notably, the border of hell was excluded from this alliance.
The Dimensional Lords of the outer planes were fewer in number.
Among them, the Purple Dimension had already been struck once by Aaron. It had been entrusted to Nastil by Mephisto, but with the alliance gone, the Purple Dimension has had no successor since.
Other smaller dimensions lacked the qualifications to interfereâexcept for one: Cytorak, the ruler of the Dark Red Universe, known as the most powerful of the Dimensional Lords.
Cytorak alone elevates the status of the outer planes.
Naturally, he took a keen interest in this conflict.
When he learned of Mephisto and Dormammuâs brutal defeat, his curiosity was piqued.
Though unaware of Aaronâs origin, Cytorak admired his strength.
The strong respect the strongâand Cytorak was confident that Aaron would not be his match.
And so, he devised a plan.
He summoned several other Dimensional Lords:
Rogda and Aikan from the outer plane.
Krakan, Farila, Rago Gador, and Vatum from the Split Domain.
All of them were once contenders for the title of strongest Dimensional Lord.
But they had never clashed directly.
Such direct battles could shatter countless realms, diminishing the collective power of the Dimensional Lords.
So, they usually fought through agents, letting their proxies decide the outcome.
Cytorak had ties with these Lords, so he convened a secret council under the pretext of addressing the dimensional crisis.
The results of their meeting remain unknown.
The Darkchilde once sent an emissary to investigateâbut returned empty-handed.
Meanwhile, within the inner planes, even Seth and Chthon took interest in the real universe.
The Three Gods of the Vishanti, however, responded by reinforcing the magical barriers and tightening patrolsâblocking Seth and Chthon from making their move.
Still, they remain convinced that one day, theyâll breach the real universe.
In the meantime, they laid chess pieces in advance.
It could be said that, aside from the outermost dimensions, Aaronâs actions had plunged the entire dimensional cosmos into chaos.
Beneath the calm surface, countless powers are watching and waiting.
The moment an opening appearsâthey will carve up the real universe.
Especially with Aaron, the unpredictable variable.
He fascinated them even more.
And that rumored, elusive magical web...
The whole situation gave Oshtur a headache.
Agamotto was stunned: âAaronâs only been practicing magic a short time? Yet he defeated Mephisto and Dormammu?!â
âAsgard has truly birthed a remarkable figure!â
âWith him on our side, the defense of the real universe becomes more secure!â
Oshtur added, âProvided he doesnât stir up too much trouble again.â
âWe really need to think this through.â
Agamotto smiled. âEven without him, those guys wouldnât give upâbut his appearance has reversed the tide.â
âPity he wasnât from Kamar-Taj.â
Had Aaron been from Kamar-Taj, the Vishanti couldâve communicated with him more easilyâand possibly learned the secrets behind his rapid growth.
But Aaron is an Asgardianâa New God.
The New Protoss are now the ruling force of the real universe, and the Ancient Gods have become relics of history.
They canât roam freely in the real universe without risking catastrophe.
Each surviving Ancient God wields power capable of annihilating a galaxy.
Their mere movement causes mountains to collapse and the ground to crack.
The real universe is too âfragileâ to endure it.
Yet with his current strength, Aaron rivals ordinary Ancient Gods.
In fact, he ranks among the elite even by their standards.
Even if the Ancient Gods had confronted Mephisto in his own domainâwith Dormammu and Satanish at his sideâthey might still have struggled to win.
âItâs rare to see such a powerful deity emerge from the New Protoss,â Agamotto sighed.
âThis universe is truly special. We need to keep a close eye on it.â
Oshtur nodded.
After all, the real universe they protect isnât the only one.
Across countless parallel universes, Kamar-Taj needs their help constantly.
Some of these universes possess beings even stronger than the current God of Magic.
But most of those wield such power only through external meansâlike Infinity Stones.
Or via forbidden dark magic, turning them into something neither human nor god.
Aaron, however, forged the magical web with his own power and studied intensely.
In just a few short years, he grew from a lowly protoss with no godhoodâinto the man who defeated Mephisto!
Even Mephistoâinfamous as the most cunning of all Dimensional Lordsâfell to this new Magic God.
Aaronâs meteoric rise stunned the universe.
And no one knows how far he can go.
Heâs already absorbed the energy of three dimensions.
The next time he leaves the real universe, he may return with power far beyond comprehension.
Agamotto clicked his tongue at the thought.
The others felt the pressure too.
What a monster.
The New Protoss are not to be underestimated!
âAsgard... truly a land of surprises, wouldnât you say, GaeaâŠâ
Oshturâs gaze shiftedâas if she saw Gaea watching from Avalon across the galaxies.
Technically, all the New Godsâincluding Asgardiansâare Gaeaâs children.
But did she give special attention to Aaron?
Probably not. Maybe only Thor was favored.
Oshtur speculated boldly.
Yet she didnât know that when Gaea heard of Aaronâs feats, even the Mother of Gods began to question his origins.
She couldnât recall ever paying attention to him.
He had always seemed like an ordinary New Godâweak-blooded, with no chance of becoming a chief deity, let alone challenging Dormammu.
And that, in Dormammuâs home turf!
Even the strongest version of Odin from any parallel universe couldnât match that feat.
Aaron had now become the undisputed number one among the New Protoss.
ââŠA magical monster⊠perhaps he truly is one,â Gaea mused.
But after reviewing Aaronâs life, she chose to keep observing.
So long as he didnât wreak havoc in the real universeâlike destroying itâshe wouldnât intervene.
Only if multiple parallel universes were at risk would they act.
Though frankly, by then, it would likely be too late.
Because they probably couldnât win...
Meanwhile, Aaron paid no attention to the cascade of reactions caused by his actions.
His only concern was securing Limbo.
And he was right.
Even though the Darkchilde was his ally, no Dimensional Lord dared trespass on the hell border for now.
The weak wouldnât dare.
The strong wouldnât botherâfor now.
And if they left their own domainsâwho would really gain the upper hand?
Hard to say.
At this moment, Aaron was fully immersed in advancing his magic.
He began refining Iv8âs atomic reorganization spell.
Once that reached Iv9, he planned to push a key magic to Lv10.
He had a strong premonitionâreaching Level 10 would change everything.
Perhaps, at that point, the universe itself could no longer constrain him.
The only real concern might be Eternity, at the center of the cosmos.
Though merely one of infinite avatars, Eternity likely operates at a multi-god level.
Still, Aaron wasnât afraid.
Maybe he couldnât winâbut he was confident Eternity couldnât defeat him either.
Once promoted to a Concept God, he would theoretically be beyond death.
After nearly a week of cultivation,
Aaron pausedâfor a major event.
Thorâs coronation had begun!
The Almighty City had issued invitations, and nearly all willing gods had gathered in Asgard.
It was a grand celebration across the Nine Realms.
It also marked the return of the gods after ages.
Not just Earthâs pantheonsâbut gods from across the stars had arrived.
They came for Thorâs coronationâbut really, it was because of Aaron.
As the face of Asgard and the true ruler of the Nine Realms, Aaron had to appear to maintain order.
To define divine duties and territorial rights.
The New Protoss had changed.
Thorâs coronation was just an excuse to gather them.
Everyone knew it.
But appearances still mattered.
Had Aaron not attended, this gathering wouldâve meant nothing.
