[💡Feature Preview] "Research" (Triple X-COM)
🕑 Added 2021-07-22 22:57:59 +0000 UTCI have just completed another item from the Triple X-COM checklist and felt like sharing some information!
In the alien chamber, you will be able to capture aliens (duh) and perform various tasks on them in order to unlock certain permanent effects.
- There are (as of now) 7 effects to unlock.
- Tasks depend on the effect you are researching.
- Every alien offers only 3 of those effects. It depends on their personality. For example: If you want to study their magic, you should capture an alien with 'Psi' abilities.
- It's possible to unlock all 7 effects...
- ... but unlikely during a normal campaign, because research takes time. 😄
The feature will be available in version 1.0.
Expect more 'Feature Previews' like these in the future. Especially with my next teases.
