I need to finish this episode but I need Red to talk about Opera right now. I got into the afterform early this year and I have fallen in love. Its wonderful. If you don't believe me, I recommend watching the Barber of Seville.

Got an idea for a new Trope Talk Video: Aesop's Fables. Been listening to the unabridged audio book on audible (to go to sleep to) and there is some *weird* s**t in there. Tons of stories about Jupiter, etc.. Very moralistic (duh) but the theme of the morals feels... alien to the 21st century ear. Conservative? Not quite. Almost an insight to the thinking of the time. Also curious about the historicity. Are some of these stories *older* than the Greeks, passed down through oral history? It's a rabbit hole, not sure where it goes. Maybe a co-Blue production?

Surprised Stray Gods didn’t come up! Was even thinking of a specific moment as kind of an inverse of the “Why are you guys singing?” moment in a musical, when Grace encounters the ______ and they no sell and basically cut the music. Creating instead a panic of “Wait, why didn’t that work?!” but anyway, great video!
