Question...

So, just wondering if any of you have a preference - the longer movies like 'The Hum' or 'The Breach', or quickies like 'POV', 'Don't Answer the Door', or 'Has Anyone Seen Carol Hall'?
Just curious. Worth knowing as I move forward in my content creation.

Thanks!
I agree with the story decides the length for the most part. Just keep em coming.
8-10 minutes is a sweet spot I aim at. OCD is one of those films that fit in that area, and came out really good. Though the Hum, while twice as long (and the Breach), needed a little more time to develop the ideas. I think that's the real judge - a story decides its own length. A more direct tale needs less time, like Run. But something more complicated will leave the audience feeling like it was undeveloped if you cut it too short.

I like the short ones, but longer ones are cool too...but I usually like them around 10-12 minutes or so? I know you've done longer ones, but I feel like if I see a short film that's 20 minutes there needs to be a bit more action or something. Yours are a little slower paced. I just saw a great short called AM1200 and that was 40 minutes but it felt like a feature film and a lot happened in it.
