🕑 Added 2025-08-25 09:00:00 +0000 UTCMore of the funniest reviews on the internet! We read reviews for a 335 year old historical house that doesn't have strong enough wifi for some people. A thrift store that seems to searche its customers in a similar manner to most prisons. We head back to what people say is the crustiest, mustiest most infuriating motel, on the beach & much more!!

If they think the Revere house is small at 4 rooms, they should see where Lincoln was born!!
Laurie Katherine
We find them funny.

I have my masters degree in public history so working in Paul Revere’s house would be so much fun for me! As someone who has worked in museums before thank you for absolutely wrecking everyone who complained about it 😂

Please trust me when I say you do NOT want to use any public bathroom in Tukwila, especially one in a Value Village. If you’re lucky enough to wrestle a crack head out of the stall, broken needles will greet you.

“Are you an a**hole? Fix that sh!t.” Oh my god, my new favorite motto! 😂

Up 7% this week cause the episode FUCK VALUE VILLAGE CORPORATE

Another Washington State town that the boys can’t pronounce! Tukwila is a hot mess though.
James Mitchell
SABOTAGE!! 😂
Rebekah
What does this guy want?.... The ghost of Paul Revere 💀💀

Hard disagree on the bathroom rant. Until you have done cleanup on a publicly accessible bathroom, you can't really comprehend the damage and horror left within from the public. Not just the tweakers, also entitled "normals". Giving a code to customers is a perfectly reasonable approach.

Does anyone else have problems getting the podcast to work on here?
Ryan Oakes
I enjoy all 3 podcasts keep up the good work 5 Stars James and Jimmie

I totally agree with the value village skirt lady though. My thrift store gets everything for free and sells everything for way more than Walmart or even target. They used to be reasonable but now these places are getting greedy. 😭

I love you guys ! I listened to all of your podcasts. Love them all however, sometimes it’s obvious how wealthy you guys have become.

Ok…let me start by saying all the caveats before everyone comes for me in the comments: I know it’s comedy. James likes ranting especially when people say dumb stuff. YSO isn’t STM so the “assholes, not scumbags” approach doesn’t apply. James and Jimmie don’t have to be nice or even fair and rarely aim to be taken seriously. The guys have been through difficult situations and are usually kind to people experiencing difficulties themselves. All that said, sometimes the guys’ comments on YSO are just mean. It’s weird. The guys are super open about their own hardships. And on STM they are quick to check each other on Andrew Jackson moments. But on YSO they don’t check each other at all. Has anyone else noticed? Just wondering. I don’t expect any changes. I do expect most turkeys to say to fuck off if I don’t like hearing them punch down. Just wondering other people’s thoughts.

Seriously, this is my favorite podcast 😂

Me too.

My daughter had to pee bad at a Michael's store. We'd gone for school supplies she needed for art. Asked to use the bathroom. Employees only. She pissed on the floor during the visit. This was an accident, not intentional. But they had to clean the floor instead of letting a middle schooler use their bathroom.

The issue with public bathroom is that humans are gross. I work at a veterinary hospital and we've cleaned blood, urine, and feces not just off the toilet, but we've had to clean poo off the floor, sink, and walls! I WISH we didn't have a public restroom

Love yourself more!!! That's some solid advice Jimmie!

I’ll never understand the people that still continue with their purchase after being accused of stealing. Wouldn’t get a dime out of me!
Susan Anderson
Tukwila is not a nice place.
Tyler Brown
Funilly enough, the heir to value village built a 15 car garage on his property on lake Washington a couple years ago 😆. Point still stands.

I don’t think James and Jimmie will be joining us in Vegas anytime soon 🫠

This podcast helps me get through the Monday shift👍✨

I accidentally set playback at 1.25. James’ voice clearly sounded faster. Jimmie’s sounded the same!

Bewigged! God that's funny.

The motel was on Hotel Impossible. I see they went back to their old ways.

As a country, we should all be ashamed of how Americans look to the rest of the world. It's sad and hysterical..
Danielle Chastaine
I heard "Value Village" and immediately knew it was Washington, everywhere else its called Savers!
Danielle Chastaine
I want to give Jimmy credit, he was nearly spot on the way he pronounced Tukwila the first time. Its tuck-will-a. Native word.
Danielle Carter
I had a customer poop on the floor when I worked in a liquor store. He had asked an employee if we had a restroom. After the poop, he told same employee "I asked for a restroom" the employee responded "you didn't say bathroom". English was his 2nd language. 🤷♀️

Omg the Paul Revere House reviews! I’m currently a bird keeper, but I’ve been a tour guide and interpreter at zoos and national parks, and oh my god, some people do not care. I used to get so excited when a guest wanted to ask me about any animal AT ALL. Apart from “can I pet the giraffe? Can I pet the rhino? Can I give my popcorn to the parrot?” 🤦🏻♀️ People will haul ass through an aviary without looking up, then get mad there are no birds. “Sir, there were 2 crowned pigeons literally copulating over there in front of you.” lol sorry. That’s my rant for the day.
Elizabeth Rutherford
A lot of people in this country love history, including me! Bro is just mad that he got cut off at the Red Sox game.
Kramer and his Cougar MILF
"Man Anger" 😅😂🤣... I'm pretty sure that quality comes with the title.

I rarely get irritated with the reviews of landmarks, but those Paul Revere house reviews have me boiled. I think the REAL problem is that the house is located in a very dense area, where you have to actually walk to get to, and deal with crowds. Usually super humid and hot. The front of the building is iconic in itself, if all you care about is taking a family photo for IG, and can't be bothered to spend $6. Just unreal reviews, it's a good museum. WiFi really lol I'm happy you guys called out broke.

I am probably the only one but I have Paul Revere by the Beastie Boys in my head now. 😅

Good episode I will love too visit history places learn about these things 5 Stars James and Jimmie

Banks NEVER have public bathrooms. A public bathroom in a business is not a right, unless there is a local or state law requiring it. It is rare to find a public bathroom in downtown San Francisco. Value Village is a for-profit company. There is a banner heading on every page of their website stating this. Apparently their stores operate under different names; savers, value village, unique, and Thrift Superstore.

This show is the only reason I enjoy Mondays. Literally!!! 🤣

If you’re a historian and preservationist like me, people like Barry at the Paul Revere House (AND THERE ARE MANY OF THEM IN THIS COUNTRY) are why I want to put my head through a wall on a daily basis. He’s mid.

Morning!
Crowded Crow
Audio is only available in the app... I know it's bizarre, but I have issues with phones, I can barely tolerate my landline. In any case, I can't scan the stankin' QR code. If this is my worst grumble today, life is pretty good... Spotify it is! Edit: Never mind, life blows. First six minutes and James has some phone commentary. Sir! Telephobia is real. I choose not to take it personally. Good day to you. P.S. Much love to Sarah.
Judy Cronje
Indeed! 😃 Here we go!

Good morning all! Let's have a laugh.
