I’ll never forget the time my ‘84 Buick Regal Limited was stolen from the Sawgrass Mills Mall to commit a bank robbery nearby. The Club was under my driver’s seat the whole time. I always wonder if it would’ve deterred them. Either way, the bank robbers returned my car to Sawgrass Mills Theater parking lot and stole another getaway car. My dad was so pissed.

You even nailed the pronunciation of Terrell TX, home of Terrell State Hospital. Now it’s a decent facility full of hard working and caring nurses and doctors who care for the mentally ill. In the 80s it was a nightmare, and had been for decades (like most of the mental health facilities across the nation). Right now a brand new hospital is being built on the campus and will have the latest in tech and safety for the patients and the staff. They still send those deemed criminally insane in Texas to TSH. One of the more recent cases was Dena Schlosser, the Plano woman who killed her 10 month old daughter and chopped off that baby’s arms because “demons.”
