[TS3] Catalog Search Mod

Stumbled upon this mod today and got VERY excited to try it out, as it fixes the biggest problem I have with TS3. Installed it, loaded my game, and... clicking the search button does nothing. It makes a click noise, but no search dialog pops up. Not sure if something broke in the last few months, but... hopefully there's a fix, or maybe another mod this depends on to work?

Gamefreak is working on a better mod for searching not just Buy/Build but a lot of other modes. I won't be updating my own mod, as his is basically the superior version, it's not out yet however.

It's not possible to search the whole B/Buy mode with is it? For instance if i'm searching for a trampoline I need to find the appropriate category first? Thanks for your hard work, i'm excited to see what you can do next!

It might be, I remain hopeful. Hard "might", though, this kind of modding for TS2 is very hard to do in comparison.

Hi! Nope, that's a bug, ty for catching it. I'll remove the button from collections for now, I'll see about implementing search in collections in the future.

My goodness, I can't believe it!!! A search function for Sims 3?!! But it was one of the latest features I cherished in Sims 4 without having it in Sims 3, and now you make it?!!! Your skills & abilities are beyond magic!!! <3

Hi LD, I'm trying out your search mod now and I have to say I'm impressed! I'm so happy it shows up on both 'By Function' and 'By Room' and in Build mode! Is it suppose to work in Collections too? The magnifying glass shows up but the items don't filter.
