super excited to see y'all react to what's to come!! just wanna mention that even though netflix's translations are extremely well done, some things just can't be translated and get lost especially if you're aren't korean or knowledgeable on korean culture. but munyeong's character is so funny to me. especially in later episodes, every instance she speaks, she uses the most authoritative/rude language and form of speaking there is. it's like how a king would talk to their servant or someone super wealthy talking to hired help. people do not speak this way, especially when they meet someone for the first time or when they don't know each other well and also in professional settings. it's basic etiquette to speak politely until you know their age (gotta respect the elders) and it's looked down upon if you aren't. munyeong just gives 0 fucks

just a heads up for future kdrama reactions esp romance dramas, you’re gonna get a lot of staring, i mean A LOT! You’ll get the two main love interests staring at each other filmed from 90 different angles and you’ll have no choice but to awkwardly sit there and feel like a third wheel i fear 😭 like you said it’s a stylistic choice and it’s also to build tension between them so i personally like it but i get why some ppl might want to do without it. Also, this drama is more character driven than the other ones you guys watched so they rely on scenes that are emotionally impactful like that and there are a lot of flashbacks to show the backstories of the main characters… it all comes together beautifully so i’m sure you guys will enjoy it!
