So about the husband not leaving Yeon Jin... he decided not to leave her after seeing Dong-Eun' scars. He tells Dong Eun she should have been more proactive. Later we realize that he wanted Yeonjin to suffer more. He didn't want to let her go easy by just leaving her. He wants to her to feel his coldness and feel like she's being conspired againts by her inner circle, this driving her more unstable and desperate.

That scene with Mrs. Kang getting beat up is sooo tough to watch that I understand why you guys thought she was revealing too much to Yeon-Jin and looked like she was switching sides but there is a way bigger play at work here and I can’t wait to see you react to how it all comes to a head during the last few episodes. Oh i just realised, you're right, he's decided not to leave Yeonjin and told Dongeun that they should meet again, that was all to screw with Yeonjin. Because leaving Yeonjin at that point would be too simple(?), like it doesn't have as much impact
