The younger yeon jin actually plays in another kdrama called revenge on others. The drama is exactly what is sounds like. It's so underrated and makes me sad that it's so overlooked. In this drama the actress that plays the younger yeon jin is actually the good guy

The lighter evidence was definitely covered up by Shin back then. And even if they did investigate the lighter, YeonJin’s DNA wouldn’t be enough to get her in trouble. But now that there is so much publicly exposed about YeonJin, if Yeonjin has any DNA on that lighter, she is done for. Especially if there is evidence linking her to Myeong-o. Definitely a long, but necessary process for Moon to take her down.
