I think they also make sure to keep it like this when the character/s are in high school to “keep it pg” in Korea. It would be seen as wrong to have high school characters properly kiss there, even tho yijin isn’t one lmao

lmao KISS HER BACK wellll this is not really a strange kdrama kiss. These types of kisses are what I am used to seeing in a kdrama really. I am always pleasantly surprised when both actors are actually moving their lips lol

I think the most interesting and must-see drama in the 'Reply' series is 1988. All of these items, lines, and details are amazing. Of course, only older Koreans can feel such details, and the ratings of this drama at that time were huge. It was so Korean that I didn't expect this drama to be a hit abroad, but it was very popular.

I was looking forward to this episode! I also wanted to clarify in case it was confusing. Hee-do said “The kiss that started when I was 19, ended when I was 20” because she turned 20 at midnight. So per the Korean age system you actually turn a year older on New Years and not on your birthday.
