I don't think the scene between Saeroyi and Yiseo was weird. She was the first person to cry for him... I don't understand why it's so hard for you to root for this ship ? The age gap is not a problem and at least Yiseo is helping Saeroyi, we can't say the same about Soo-ah. I cannot understand the fact that you want Saeroyi to end up with Soo-ah just because she's the same age as him.

Also the reason why Toni is the one that has to learn to speak English was cuz that was the only reason why Yi-seo hired him. He had no restaurant experience so the only thing that Yi-seo thought he would be an asset to was the fact that they can have someone else be a English speaker apart from her. (Cuz Itaewon has a lot of foreigners) So Yi-seo could be like “well you can’t do what I hired u for so…bye” She doesn’t have much empathy for others so that’s probably how they think she will react💀

This is just a cute little thing I noticed watching the show again with you guys but Ho-Jin doesn’t even call Saeroyi “Saeroyi, he actually calls him “Royi” (he did in the scene where they were talking with Ms Kang) and I just taught it was a cute little indication of how close they are, cuz with Korean you usually don’t give nicknames unless you are pretty damn close.
