I really like this episode because we get to see how miscommunication and telling others business without consulting them first can be harmful. Especially because I feel like Anne sometimes has a hard time learning that just because it is the truth does not mean it needs to be said. I also love it because we see how all of the characters are growing up more and realizing there are more important things in the world than trivial matters.

They don’t dislike Ms Stacy because she’s a woman. They don’t like her because she doesn’t conform to their idea of a proper woman. I believe in those times, women were the majority of teachers.
