I also would've loved for Voula's secret crush to be Stephanie!!! Would've been a total game changer for sure. And totally agree - maybe that's what they were going with when they wrote "gun used by Spike." Either way, I wish they did MORE with Spike, but I'm glad it wasn't the eating disorder storyline, too!
Speaking of Nancy, I should add that her actorโs previous character Rachel singing the song at the concert in Kids of Degrassi Street (in Martin Hears the Music) is one of my favourite Degrassi moments.
Great episode. If I recall, the Wheels book they released actually had him hanging out with some troublemakers downtown โ Barry and Tammy, I think. I think he ended up having to go to court over the summer. Do you have any more information about why the Annie actor left the show? Also, Nancy selling drugs โฆ if only. She deserved her big moment on the show, even if it meant descending into criminality! ๐
This might be strange but I think I would have liked to see Spike attempt suicide I know that sounds really strange but my mom attempted suicide when I was younger I was in like the third grade and I have yet to see a character go through that so like I don't know I just I would have liked for Emma to find out that her mom attempted suicide after she was born I would have liked to see Emma struggle with that knowledge the way I have because I didn't find out about my mom until I was much older and it just it would have really given me that blueprint or just something to relate to when I was dealing with that thought and the grief process of what could have happened
