I disagree on that regard but agree to disagree ! Currently I think Malayalam industry is doing great no doubt but i find there’s more variety in genres in Tamil industry 😊 .

But Malayalam cinema currently IS the standard to attain. I’m Tamil so I do recognize all that the Tamil industry has achieved but there is no argument to be made against what Malayalam cinema is doing.

Okay but it does seem that way when you will allow even 15 mins of a Malayalam film to not affect its rating in your list… you also bring up Malayalam cinema constantly as if it’s the standard to attain and the only one that makes groundbreaking films. given that Tamil industry is much older and has been at the forefront for progressive movies even as far back as the 60s, it doesn’t sit well! If you reviewed more older Tamil films you’d see that we’ve been doing that for many years. Anyways, you might not agree but just wanted to share!

It’s only one movie, but I am hoping for more, is Khalid Rehman ( Love, Thallumaala, and Unda) who acted in Manjummel Boys.. LJP has acted in films supporting roles longest of which in swathanthryam ardharathriyil ( a movie I want you to see)

Yes the realization of the interweaving timelines was what made me have an 'aha' moment! The end reveal, I kinda anticipated as there were some real clues pointing to it. The timelines was very clever writing.

Yaya saw the review but about this specifically . Apart from the end twist I thought the timeline play was also kind of a twist . Thought that was the most unpredictable one that's y asked specifically about this part .

I know you guys didn't talk about it here but one thing that blew me away was how the timeline was weaved into the screenplay. The moment when anurag go into the saloon and the timeline reveals the whole theatre went ahhh. Curious to know what you thought about that
