Another strong year for Malayalam cinema 👏 Also good for Tamil movies. Poor one for Hindi and Kannada.. Some good Hindi ones that flew under tha radar (minimal cinema release and not watched by OSR) - Dukaan, Savarkar, Bhakshak, Vedaa, TBMAUJ (shahid)

When you go into watch Marco, pls go in with the same expectations as Kill. It doesn’t have plot or logic, just great stunts, cinematography, score and a bit of violence.

My favourite and best film of the year is Meiyazhagan. It could also have been Vaazhai but in terms of enjoyment I lean more towards Meiyazhagan 🌟

Love this and I can understand you can't put in all ur fav movies but may be do a sharing of movies for a ranking would also be good, but so happy to see so many Tamil movies in the top 10 as well as nominees in awards. I would have really loved if Kottukali won more awards coz that movie is a well deserving and fantastic master piece from P.S Vinothraj and has all the artistic merits to be even in academy awards nomination if it was given a chance.

So happy to see so many Tamil movies in top 10 for both of though I understand Korbin you guys forgot about vaazhai ...that would have made it almost half of the list like I were saying during the watchalongs lol 😆 2024 year was an absolute great year for Tamil and 2025 is no less than too.
