INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
- (Delete old om_hometown folder)
Open OMEGA's Hometown zip - Find Zip password in EULA.pdf (if you have trouble seeing the file open it through your browser per drag and drop)
- Extract om_hometown folder into your Assetto Corsa Tracks folder (CM drag'n'drop does not work sometimes) Also do not use Windows explorer extractor - use 7zip or Winrar (or similar) instead.

CSP minimum: 0.1.79
For the best experience set these settings as shown:
- CSP Settings->Graphic Adjustments->Adaptive clip planes->Set far plane values to 30000, 40000

Hope all of you are doing great!
Due to technical limitations the baked in shadows dont look like they should I will try to fix it ASAP - I already lost too much time fixing it so I rather release this version to be able to fix it later. I will update this source with an fixed version and also you can download the fix itself on my discord "Quick-fixes" section.
Here I am with the latest fixes and another big expansion for the new vegetation
We got from ~13.000 to now over 27.000 vegetation objects
I completely focused on placing the new vegetation for this update and fixed the weird lightning for both new tunnels as best as I could... (Assetto doesnt really like such big underground tunnels)
Vegetation placing takes much time as its done right now (bascially placing every single object by hand rn)
+ that I encountered a repeating pc hardware issue which kinda didnt let me work at full speed
(Cpu cooling is out of control even tho cooling was replaced 3 weeks ago, hittin 100Celsius all the time - it did work fine after the replace just came back 1 1/2 weeks ago no idea why)
Else I replaced and updated some texture mostly shader settings for a nicer look.
2real traffic got expanded and now properly follows new parts of the autobahn.

Hi yes the color still looks bad I am currently working on a fix. pure will give you the same results… I recommend for a temporal fix to turn down VAO intensity to 0.625 or less this should look „better“

so the weird/bad imagery could be because of my baked shadows not being to standards (hardware limitations as explained above - currently processing the hotfix for that) but performance worse than v 0.80? thats a new one cuz nothing got changed in that direction xD so got no idea from where that comes from - also weird because I dont experience such things (and by god I dont have an ultra good pc...)

hmm weird maybe somehow that one file that contains the fixes didnt got copied over right? see manually in the track folder navigate into spawn_1_no_ai -> data -> traffic.json it has to be 775kb big and date changed should be 25th february please check :)

haha yea that was what I explained in the post description the baked in shadows are kinda broken (you could turn down VAO amount value in PURE settings to something like 0.625 more of a temporal fix....)

Hello, with the 2REAL version (and others), I still have AI that makes a turn on the other lane to go back and then no AI during a long time. You said you made some corrections, do we have something else to download ? Thanks for all your work it's really great!

I have no lag, with 14 AI , and no 99% , but hell, thes shadows are dark now , and the trees look more greyish . Fluent gaming at 40-50 fps

is it only me or you experience the same but image quality and fps drops got worse than previous version.. nothing changed in my setting, I am still using PURE with GTX 3060 strong pc, thanks for your work though.

Hope that lag is only with AI‘s - if yes then try to use 2real variant (now updated) or switch to ODE physics mode in General patch settings when you scroll down a bit. Thanks appreciate it 💜

My cpu makes it lag only at 36% cpu usage with only like your omegahometown and I got a pretty good mix of settings but I got it up to running 70-80 fps constant now but I have a major motherboard bottle neck for some reason I’m not really pulling 80 watts or even half so idk but love it keep it up man nice talking to you

nothing unordinary and a tad bit older I7-7700k (delid and custom copper IHS + 360 AIO + liquid metal ofc) Asus Z270e gaming 64gb DDR4 2800mhz Ripjaws V (was 32gb before needed to upgrade) and an Zotac Amp extreme GTX 1080ti a samsung SSD and 3 hdd's oh and a half working corsair RM750I psu with another random 450watt PSU (my "main" powersupply cant handle the load of the GPU so only CPU/MoBo/HDD/SSD are hooked up to the corsair one - GPU got the 450watts one completely for itself)

I did an delidding job on my cpu 2 years ago did run fine and never had problems also temps were as best as I could get them maybe something in that direction went wrong for whatever reason… also my hardware cant keep up anymore with some workloads I have to tackle for hometown guess its the right time to upgrade and make it future proof again 🙈

Werid idk why else I went fan cooling with assassin air cooler one 120m fan and I barely hit 80c fully loaded

no arctic liquid freezer 360 old gen (basically 4 months runtime in total on this unit / old one that was the same and got replaced had about 5yrs runtime - pump broke)
