You have an ability to write this story taking your readers to on a wild ride that sees them taken to the edge of the LPS cliff then safely back again to the reality of life in the DD… it will be good to see the LPS big stick swing and Dawn to have some time with more radical Amazons… thankyou for taking us on Dawn’s adventure.

In the potential typo all I meant was is it supposed to be Emily's. That's all, sorry.

Very true. This is indeed a strong point.

I'm trying to strike my own kind of balance right now for the DD. I do want LPS to sort of be thought as the boogeyman as well as have conservative/radical sort of Amazons. That being said, and despite calling LPS "big brother," I don't want to make it seem like James and Katherine are actually being scrutinized by others at any given moment, though I don't want to do away with that aspect of "mistreating" Littles either. I want LPS to seem like a big stick, and just maybe we'll get to see it swing! I do want some more radical Amazons, too...

So glad you liked it! As for the potential typo, I don't think I see it... I did double-check though for "drooping eyes," and it seemed appropriate for the verbiage and form. Droopy eyes may sound better, though? Either way, I'll definitely be the first to admit that I make typos/mistakes. Although, it's usually the readers finding them before I do... Thank you for the comment!

I love the chapter, there is one tiny detail I saw that probably was just a small typo. In the second paragraph there's "Emily's drooping eyes..."

Makes me wonder how good the LPS informant network is, at this point its either looking pretty ineffective or Dawn has been more than lucky…. Swearing incident at hotel with the Tour Guide, trashing her hotel room, ranting at another hotel guest, naked in the hotel foyer, tantrum in the clothes store and running off until found and taken to mall security, running off from the house and swearing when caught by another amazon, behaving badly at the library, unrestrained at home and not supervised by James when he was on a work call, bad behaviour at the doctors…. If this dimension is living upto its name LPS should have a hefty file of evidence that proves Dawn is definitely not an adult and that Katherine and James have been far too lenient with her.

Katherine definitely sees her as less than a toddler since toddlers are potty trained. XD

Big bad LPS... The way I see it, if LPS were to intervene over anything, aside from Dawn getting out of the house I'd imagine anything of concern that's on file is more of a minor point in an entire portfolio rather than a single damning thing. In other words, playing a whole hand of cards is probably more effective than just playing the first one you get.

I think the whole LPS situation that led to the ultimate meltdown fried whatever mood she was in to do anything that night. Sort of as an author's note, an alternative conclusion I was thinking of was Katherine grabbing a book and quietly reading, or maybe aloud for Dawn to listen. In the end, I didn't go with that, but I'm sure it'll happen at some point. Whether Katherine would have let Dawn have free reign over her books in that moment is up for debate, mainly because I didn't write anything for it, lol. There would definitely be some kind of nice gesture, though I don't think Katherine sees Dawn as an equal or an adult. (More aptly, a kid or toddler that happens to be relatively smart!)

Eventful indeed! As for LPS, maybe not super soon, at least in context with how much time has actually gone by in the story. Really, it's only been 1-2 days since the last visit, depending on where you are in the latest chapter. LPS isn't going away, of course, but I don't think they'd be knocking on their door almost daily, ya know? Thank you for the comment!

Hmm...who knows? I tend to think of Katherine and James as more well-intentioned Amazon folk, but the diaper dimension is indeed a vast place...

T'was a very nice break! I like writing, but I do need breathers from it, which, moving forward, I'll try to be more conscious of. The way I see it is that sometimes Dawn can hit them with reality a little bit too hard, which is a good thing because it's something that isn't easy to deflect with a one-size-fits-all kind of mantra. That, and sometimes you just gotta let your Little get it all out of their system! And yes, looking forward to continuing with Emily and Joyce as well!

Also, hmm, maybe this "vacation" or time off COULD be referred to as something else. Too bad we only have Dawn's perspective. Which is fun but challenging when I want to show depth for the Amazons that probably wouldn't happen around Dawn. Also, a long story, yes, but I tend to be a dense writer that can sometimes slow things down, haha. Thank you for commenting!

Thank you so much! It was sort of a long time coming, but I don't consider this as a "doomed forever" moment. I suppose this is more of a play to set in stone that this won't be a matter of counting the days anymore (and soon give me an excuse to not have to write day by day anymore). I'm sure in some ways Katherine does get it, but in a lot of others, she doesn't. She knows Dawn is away from everyone she has ever known and, in a way, really is "dying" when you consider that life back home moves on without her. Katherine's perspective, I'd say, is trying to convince Dawn that life doesn't stop just because you're someplace new. She sees the holes in Dawn's heart and head, and whether it's the right thing to do or not, she's trying to fill them with new experiences and faces.

After being seen running around unsupervised by James’s work colleagues on the video call it is possible that one of them will have called LPS to report that he had a little running around in his home and no playpen in sight. That may be the ammunition LPS need to temporarily remove Dawn for a trial placement with the no nonsense woman who wanted to adopt her at the hotel while LPS complete their background checks on James and Katherine. A reality check is just what Dawn needs right now, that way she will finally realise just how good has it with Katherine and James.

I'm honestly amazed that Dawn passed up the golden opportunity Katherine was offering her in her personal library. I mean, she even told Dawn that whenever she was upset she read and that's obviously something she knew Dawn probably did too. Of course, Dawn was emotionally distraught and probably too numb to the world to even think about it, but I still feel like that was a mighty big olive branch Kat offered her...

Sounds like an eventful evening and upcoming day! Plus I imagine another LPS visit is due

What is going on here a couple of chapters ago Dawn had issues with tieing her shoes and now she is wetting. Was it really the juice or is there something more sinister taking place and she is being gaslight? Great work glad to see you are back at it!

Hope you had a wonderful and restful holiday! Thank you for this sweet treat at the start of a new year. It’s good to see the Amazons listening more to Dawn and how she’s working through her emotions. Great chapter! I’m looking forward to see what you have in store for these characters and of course Joy and Emily!

Great chapter here, and definitely good that the emotions really came out here I think. Maybe, just maybe, Katherine finally 'gets it.' I'm sure this is maternity/paternity leave for both of them, which is definitely allowed for! You know your chapter count really doesn't show the full scope of the length of the tale you've written here. You're at an impressive word count here!
