A Few Important Notes:
⋅ Not all Levels are in Demo 1.1 nor are entirely completed. Expected a lot of changes in the Demo 2.0!
⋅ Missing (to be added/replaced) Animations. A few animations (most notably the entity jumpscare in "The Hotel") are currently absent from the demo while they are still being finalized. All are set to be ready and in Demo 2.0.
⋅ Optimization Bugs. Compared to earlier alphas, Demo 1.1 is almost positively set to have more and worse optimization bugs. We are currently working on getting these patched as soon as we can, but they will be inevitable. If you encounter any sudden, general, or even overall slowdowns please report them in our Discord Bug Report System!

How to Download (Updated for Demo 1.1):

⋅ Copy and paste the key into the formform and click the link to download Demo 1.1.
⋅ Move Demo1.1.zip to a clean space on your PC and Extract it.
⋅ Open the extracted folder (Demo 1.1>Windows>Subliminal.exe) and run Subliminal.exe.

I keep getting a Dx12 error it seems. I was getting it on the lst Demo too but not the Alphas. Was hoping itd get fixed.

I’ve tried running the game and it loads up just fine but for some reason, all of the assets flicker really fast and it makes it really hard to understand what’s happening on screen. I tried turning down the graphics settings, but it didn’t seem to help. Does anybody know what I can do to fix it?

Type %appdata% in the command prompt or the search bar on windows 11, go to the local folder, then delete the folder named "Subliminal", then launch the game again. It'll erase your settings, but it's worth it.

I saw you promised VR mode.. Honestly, can't imagine Lumen working in VR 🤔 2 eyes with let's say 3400x3400 resolution per eye with 90fps with Lumen? I don't think even 4090 can handle it 😄 although 5.4 has some foveted VR rendering features but still..

Are they? Hmmm haven't seen that info. But would be nice to have just a puzzle/exploration/SUBTLE horror mode without jumscares and stuff. But I understand if they won't have it - you can't make a game for everyone. Fans will always be asking for things that don't fit your vision/you can't or don't want to add.

Unfortunately right now, we are not planning on having a free roam but it is planned for future updates. Right now it's difficult with the design we have but we can work ourselves off to get it done!

The developers are implementing a no entity mode, but a no jumpscare animation setting would be helpful
