a super interesting thing about caroline being a vampire is before she was a big control freak and when youre a vampire everything about your personality is heightened, which is why she is probably the most natural vampire because she has an insane amount of self control. most vampires in this universe kill on their first feed but she didnt and she immediately knew how to compel after attempting her first try

The Damon bias is crazy with you guys already lol Damon is his own person, and Stefan doesn't control what he does. So blaming him for what Damon does instead of holding Damon accountable is hilariously incorrect. Ya'll were more bothered by Stefan slapping Jeremy than ya'll were with Damon killing him and then man-handling him at the fair lol Also Bonnie told Damon to give Caroline blood so I think they shared responsibility, same with Katherine. For real, I was probably the same way my first watch when I was 10 or something but I don’t think I ever thought everything was Stefan’s fault for forcing Damon to turn, when Katherine was the one who orchestrated them turning and Damon was the one acting up constantly. But people can’t resist that man!!

Ahhh that makes sense Michelle, I was wondering because it took them like 5 episodes after the reveal of Alaric in the sun without his ring to stop thinking he was a vampire. I just thought if they missed something, they must not be seeing comments reminding them either. Good to know!!

I thought reading comments was an every now and then thing but thanks for the info!!! The past few episodes I’ve just been watching the full watchalong and then going to YouTube videos for the thoughts so that’s probably why I missed that. So that shows me lol

They do read the comments but reactions are filmed ahead of time so they may not always see/understand/mention things until like 2+ episodes later!

Omgggggg even when Damon is doing something bad, you’ll blame Stefan because he didn’t stop him 😭 when we’ve already established Damon doesn’t listen and will full send it if someone tries to stop him. You guys are so sick and twisted 😂😂😂😂 you seemed more impacted by Stefan slapping Jeremy because he tried to kill himself than Damon killing Jeremy and then threatening his life AGAIN this episode. They read comments (or at least Rob does). In the intro part before the reaction he mentioned reading a comment on the last video about how it was said in an interview they had Damon snap Jeremy’s neck because he was becoming too likeable and they wanted to show he’s still a villain. So Rob probably reads the comments.

This has to be my favourite ep so far. It’s official, I hate Damon this episode and I love Caroline. I also love Bonnie and how protective she is of her friends (she is too good for this world). I am HERE for Caroline the vampire barbie and for her finally getting more screen time. You're right, Zuff, the hospital really is the best place to get turned into a vampire with all of those blood bags lol. Fun fact: apparently they used corn starch/syrup, peppermint extract and food colouring for the blood bags in the show. The first Caroline/Damon scene is EPIC! Yasss girl beat him. Think he deserved more than one shove though lol ngl. He really underestimates Caroline as a person and a vampire.
