Glad you guys enjoyed this! Such a good movie! This film definitely nails a type of mother-daughter relationship that a lot of people can relate to. Saoirse Ronan is great in this, but, for me, Laurie Metcalf is the stand-out. She was fantastic!

oohh, to have experienced a mother-daughter relationship as a teenager. I love this movie, and it came out when I was graduating high school, so it hit me so hard when I first watched it. I am happy that you all had a great time watching it! Such a great movie.

I love this movie so much. It was so relatable to me in almost every way. I went to Catholic school, and I wanted to leave my hometown for New York, I was very theatrical, and like most teenage girls I fought hard with my mom but grew up and discovered we have a very similar personality. I'm a sucker for mother/daughter relationships because my mom and I are very close. Timothée Chalamet was on the come-up this year. He had Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird, I saw CMBYN at Sundance so I knew him from there first and then saw him play a total asshole here lmao.
