One of the most beautiful sex scenes imo, Luke said in an interview that he wanted to show the difference between his and Pen's first time and when he would go to the brothel, he truly wanted it to feel like this was so much more intimate and loving because it's happening with someone he loves and feels himself with and it truly came across that way. Besides that though, I adored how he stood up for Pen to her mom, finally someone who cares for and loves Penelope and backs her up!

Great watchalong. Such a great episode, but then I loved every ep of this season. That intimate scene was so beautifully done. I think it's the most real sex scene I've seen on screen. Didn't feel gratuitous either, just really loving. Fair play to Nicola and Luke for being able to have the level of trust to do that. And Colin standing up to Portio was so satisfying! I also get Eloise is angry, but pressurising her to spill it at the engagement party seemed a bit nuts. Hardly the right time!
