I love this episode. It might be my favourite of part two. I love the start and then the argument outside the modiste. Colin is understandably hurt and doubting what is real and what isn't when it comes to Pen, which scares him as he truly loves her, as he says to Eloise. Her saying she can take care of herself and him then not understanding what she needs him for if he doesn't protect her is so sad. Yet, I love how passionately she says she loves him. That's all she needs and seeing how it stuns him in to passion is great. I really like that they made the LW reveal not a quick fix that they moved past quickly. They love each other but they're still not quite on the same page by the end of this ep.

Hope Zuff gets better soon! I have to ask, is nobody else unsettled with the first scene? I thought no matter how upset Colin was he would never leave Pen behind by herself like that. But everything else was brilliant! They had a beautiful wedding and the show feels like it’s getting better with each episode.

I think the reason Penelope saying that she loves Colin ends the fight when she’s left the modist is because it reminds Colin in that moment what’s important. He can be angry, and has every right to be, but this is the woman that he loves and it almost makes him get out of his own way and kiss her. And then their passion for one another is what leads them to the doorway.

I think the actress who plays Philippa has been rumored to be dating someone else recently and allegedly took him to the NY Bridgerton premiere. That rumor could be untrue though and so not sure. But they might’ve just been affectionate as friends at that event. But I hope they are together because that would be cute!
