Thank you for noticing that this is like the first time that we’d actually seen Bonnie’s bedroom and her dad/living situation is RARELY ever mentioned. Such a shame that such a great character that contributes SO MUCH to the show & has been a main character since the pilot- can barely get scenes focused on herself & her life. SMH

Yeah hindsight I really don’t like Klaroline for the creepiness & bc it ruined Forwood. I think klaus & Bonnie would’ve been SO good together instead bc she’s quite literally an outcast amongst his own friends & Klaus is a loner. That enemies to lovers arc would’ve been epic. Julie Plec & Caroline Dries MISSED with that.

Klaroline dance scene used to be my thing back when I used to love klaroline until I got older and realized its only lust IMO and their moments were each other using one another like Caroline using his attraction for her to lure him to her friends and Klaus using care as leverage to Tyler or remember when Klaus compelled Tyler to bite Caroline and causing her to almost die on her birthday. They still give me a nostalgic feeling

What a treat!! I don't really like what they did with Alaric in S3 but this episode breaks me 💔 Matt Davis is such a good actor (though he's a shitty human). Btw, Alaric has died 6 times (1x15, 2x14, 3x04, 3x10, 3x13 and 3x19)! Poor Elena, Jeremy, Damon and Bonnie 💔 I'm with Caroline: Team Stelena (not Elefan, sorry Zuff lol)!! Rippah and evil Stefan was fun but kind and compassionate Stefan is everything ❤ Fun facts: The title of the episode is a reference to the poem "Do Not Go Gentle" by Dylan Thomas (yes, the same one Taylor Swift mentions in TTPD) who wrote it for his dying father where he's pleading with him not to die, which parallels the Alaric storyline. The song that is playing when everyone is outside the tomb to say goodbye to Alaric is Be Still by The Fray. Candice Accola was married to the lead singer of the band, Joe King, from 2014-2022.
