Great reaction! As far as the Kelly / Gordie scene goes, I don't think the looks have anything to do with romantic feelings between them. They are two kids finding purpose together in a world that feels purposeless and scary. They've found something, and not just something, but someone who believes in them and is reaching out willing to help them. I think those looks are the welling of emotion in finding something to give their lives meaning and someone to help them do it.
