Tbh I feel Stefanās pain. Like his brother actively pursued the girl he loves, then said girlfriend fell for the brother. And when they both gave her space to figure out her feelings, she chose Stefan then reaffirmed it again after she turned. If anything that probably made him think this whole triangle thing was over. To have them just get together behind his back with little thought to his feelings must feel like a stab in the gut.

I agree that Rebekah was 100% justified in doing what she did and I feel like the Originals would do this way more often (especially Rekekah and Klaus because they're so petty and love to have fun š). And I understand Elena was under compulsion and actually loves Damon, but I felt so bad for Stefan š "How many more ways are there for you to rip my heart out?" was literally Stelena shippers at this point. The fact that Stefan would rather forget about Elena, including all the good times, was just the writers' way to rip our hearts out. Stefan being hurt doesn't erase what he and Elena had! It's such a slap in the face and why I could not get on board with Delena in S4. Not because of the sire bond but because it felt like Stelena's relationship didn't matter at all. I was just so done with Delena at this point and their scene over the phone had no impact on me. I literally couldn't care less. But Stefan does love Damon, but you know what they say: "There's a thin line between love and hate". And right now he hates him. Anyway, I feel so sorry for Tyler as well. Poor guy has been going through the ringer and as much as I love Klaus, what he did was so fucked up. I don't know what was going on with Kol's hair in this episode and the professor is creepy af with Bonnie. "April has been a character this season" is a sad and accurate description šš¤£

Caroline and Stefan thought Elenaās feeling was based on the sire bond but she genuinely loves him, before she turned. They needed to hear the cold truth that elena is in love with damon becuase stefan was in so much denial that Elena can possibly ever have feelings for damon. It was brutal of Rebekah to do that, but it needed to happen.

to be fair rebekah needed to kill elena because that was the only way to get rid of alaric, meanwhile it's true that she has a grudge against elena because she literally stabbed her in the back lol (elena also had her reasons to do that) what she did was to save her siblings and herself, alaric was unstoppable and a danger to the vampire species that doesn't mean that elena has to forgive her lol, she has all the right to hate her i love both of them but they were really meant to not like each other

The way Damon looked so happy when Elena told him that she loved him was so sweet. For so long, Damonās been waiting to have his feelings returned. First it was Katherine that broke his heart, and then he thought he would never have a chance with Elena. Iām so happy that damon finally gets to be with the girl he loves. That scenes gets me emotional every time I watch it.
