Cannot overstate what an amazing actress Nina Dobrev is. From Elena to Katherine, from human Katherine to vampire Katherine, from human Elena to vampire Elena with humanity to vampire Elena without humanity, vampire Katherine pretending to be human Elena, vampire Katherine pretending to be vampire Elena, vampire Elena pretending to be vampire Katherine etc. I'm one of few that can see both sides to the no humanity Elena. She's different, funny and has some great remarks/truth bombs, but to me it still feels like she's trying too hard to be Katherine (and Damon). I also think for the long run it would grow a bit tiring. I wouldn't want an entire season of this Elena. But I do love seeing different sides to characters. Also, it makes the most sense that Elena's sire bond to Damon would be gone without her emotions but in the last episode she disobeyed a direct order from Damon - to not burn the house down - which indicated that it was broken at that point. So a bit of a plot hole.

I didn’t like when Damon slept with Rebekah at the end of 3x14 because he felt hurt by Elena. I don’t like it here where Klaus sleeps with Hayley because of Caroline. But on this episode I ALSO don’t like the rebound girl. I could never stand Hayley. I’ve known a hundred Hayleys (not the name). They’re trashy, rude, selfish and pushy. The only reason anyone puts up with it is because she’s pretty. Some people like her. I don’t get why at this point.
